  • Our Mission:

Started by two therapists, our mission as employers is to help therapists gain experience, opportunities, and clients. We hope to help therapists build their practice, receive training, and find community. DCC focuses on cutting edge therapy methods and we welcome all styles of therapy!

Why Do Couples Work????

Many clinicians are intimidated by couples therapy because of potential fear of conflict management. Individual therapy is rich and deep, however, a therapist can burn out if they are only seeing individuals and are working on trauma.

In a couples therapy dynamic, the therapist is there to mediate and facilitate a deeper connection between two individuals who are already in a relationship. Couples therapists enjoy this work because it is rich and dynamic. In Individual therapy, we hear about our client’s relationships. In couples therapy, we see them play out in real time. Similar to group therapy, couples therapy is such a potent place to help someone become aware of how they communicate and what role they play in their relationship dynamic with their partners, and also with everyone else.

If you love relationship dynamics and attachment, couples work will deepen your own relationships, your understanding of other peoples relationships, your ability to communicate, your ability to see attachment play out in real time, and your skills to help all of your clients, both individuals and couples. We offer consultation groups for therapists to practice this work, individual consultation, and a community of therapists who are actively practicing this work. Reach out to determine if you are a fit today.

About DCC Job Opportunities

DCC is currently offering a part time Contractor position, with the opportunity to grow into a full time W-2 position in the future.

How it works:

As employees begin to build a caseload at Denver Couples Center, the position is a part time contractor position in the state of Colorado. If an employee wishes a full time position at DCC, this can be provided once they exceed the part time hours at the center.

Who is this position ideal for?

This position is first and foremost ideal for therapists who would like to grow their skills working with couples, with sexuality, and with a diversity of clients who are different races, ages, religions, and sexual orientations. We are also offering opportunities to run groups and workshops through DCC.

This position will work best for clinicians who are looking for part-time private practice model work with couples, without the full loneliness and isolation of private practice, and without the burden of marketing and advertising to find clients.

What benefits are provided at Denver Couples Center?

Aside from offering part time contract work, DCC also aims to create a community of therapists to be able to network, have colleagues, and be a part of something bigger. DCC also provides regular supervision and training for both therapy skills and skills towards being in private practice. We are aiming to help therapists feel empowered to have their own full private practice in the future if they’d like!

If a therapist chooses to become full time at DCC, we offer a salary and hourly wage, bonuses, health care insurance, 401Ks, and the change to move up into a higher position in our company.

Opportunities for Supervisors and Trainers:

If you would like to supervise or train other therapists at DCC, we are also hiring supervisors and trainers! Please inquire for more information.

Work With Us! We love building community and teaching other therapists about private practice and couples work.
