Lacey Joseph (she/they) is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate who has had the honor of serving many populations in counseling, case management, and direct care for several years in Colorado. She holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Northern Colorado and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling/Transpersonal Psychology from Naropa University. Lacey founded her practice, Nurturance Therapy LLC after developing their skills with organizations like Urban Peak, The Neurosculpting Institute, and Focus Reentry, gaining tools to work with any age navigating the human condition. Lacey strives to integrate her knowledge and training in mindfulness, somatics, narrative, and psychodynamic therapy, with Gestalt and Gottman philosophies into the therapeutic container. A strong advocate of self-care, you’ll often find them biking, playing with animals, or meditating (or watching a silly TV show like Broad City, Pen15, or Sex Education).
In their empathetic space, you can feel confident and intentional as you embark on this vulnerable exploration with yourself or with your partner(s). With a strong social justice lens, Lacey offers safety for any and all identities to share their experience. She’s passionate about her focus with adults in the LGBTQ+ community, supporting non-traditional relationships (ethical non-monogamy +) using conflict resolution, non-violent communication, and working with folx looking to feel more grounded. Lacey’s excited and equipped to meet you where you are, learn your story, and collaboratively guide you on this journey toward growth and wholeness.
